In a small village near Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand, families gather to make this beautiful handwoven fabric with vibrant colors and rich textures. I found these fabrics and totally fell in love with them. I decided to do something nice, something useful from them, and this patchwork monk sling shoulder bag is the result. It's simple and pure in design to maintain the natural feel of this beautiful fabric as much as possible. The entire bag is made from this handwoven fabric, including the sling that is blended into the bag. There is no zipper, just one wooden button to tidy up the bag on the top.
