In Chomtong village where Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand, is located, there is a tradition of making handwoven fabric with artistic stripes patterns that they call "the waterfall" pattern. The patterns on the fabric are not printed, they are woven in the fabric itself. Each individual fabric is handwoven with no strict pattern so no two areas in the fabric are exactly alike. In addition to its beauty, the cotton thread that the fabric is made from is of high quality so it's able to be woven tightly and soft to the touch.

This is the perfect material to make our original patchwork fisherman pants to appreciate the beauty and quality of this special fabric to its fullest. Due to the nature of this handwoven fabric, *each pair is totally unique*, and no two pairs are ever alike. Therefore, the pair that the buyer will receive are the exact pair worn by the model in the photos shown in this listing.

There is one side pocket for practicality. There are no elastic or zipper or buttons anywhere on the pants, just pure high quality handwoven fabric to be appreciated. To wear the pants, just wrap them around the waist and use the sewn-in fabric belt to fasten around the waist. This makes fisherman pants so comfortable and flexible to various body sizes and height.
